Dropkick Murphys To Perform
Boston, MA (May 24, 2013) TD Garden and Live Nation are proud to announce that Bostons own Dropkick Murphys have been added to the Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration lineup. Also, due to circumstances beyond their control, Godsmack regrets to inform that they will not be able to perform. The band wish to convey their support and love for the City of Boston and The One Fund, and it is with great regret that they are not able to perform for the greatest fans in the world, along with some of the greatest artists to ever come out of Boston.
Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration will feature (in alphabetical order) Aerosmith, Jason Aldean, Boston, Jimmy Buffett, Dane Cook, Dropkick Murphys, Extreme, The J. Geils Band, Carole King, New Kids on the Block, James Taylor, and Steven Wright. Lenny Clarke and Steve Sweeney will also be on hand as honorary event emcees.
Tickets for this once in a lifetime event are sold out, but fans are encouraged to check authorized ticket outlets periodically as select blocks of tickets will be released at random between now and the day of show. Fans can purchase tickets at: www.livenation.com, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 800-745-3000 or at TD Garden Box Office. In an effort to make sure all net proceeds from ticket sales go directly to The One Fund, all tickets will be sold through Ticketmasters paperless ticket delivery. Boston Strong Suite Raffle
Though Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration sold out in minutes, fans still have an opportunity to attend this memorable event while supporting The One Fund Boston. In an effort to raise the most funds for The One Fund Boston as possible, Garden Neighborhood Charities, TD Gardens philanthropic arm, is raffling off a suite for the May 30 concert at TD Garden. One lucky winner will receive 12 tickets in a Premium Club suite at TD Garden, in-suite catering, a $500 TD Garden shopping spree, and a commemorative show banner.
